Chandernahan Trek

Chandernahan lake is situated in between snowy mountains at an altitude of  4,000 meters(approx)from sea level in Rohru tehsil of Shimla district.  .This trek starts from the last village of the valley named Janglik, These villages are also good to see if you are interested in knowing the actual traditional culture of Himachal Pradesh. From the village Tangnu it takes nearly 8 hours trek to complete your trek to Chandernahan lake.While doing trekking you will reach Litham Thach in between nearly after a trek of 3 to 4 hours. The word "Thach"  means the a large plane area in hilly areas... Here  you can see mountain goats and other animals used to eat grass . In this  place you can see beautiful thach you will definately get the feel of heaven.Now on continuing your trek from here will lead you to Alluring Chandernahan lake in 3 hours.
